A Rustic Wedding Day

When we think of what the perfect wedding day looks like, the day that Matt and Amber received for their wedding was picture perfect. The sky was clear, the venue was a rustic bed and breakfast tucked on the side of a small mountain a few hours west of Philadelphia. When we arrived, the temperature was a perfect 75 degrees and the venue had its kitchen staff smoking chicken for dinner hours before the guests arrived and you could feel the end of a blistering hot summer finally cooling off and getting ready to welcome Fall. The venue had a certain charm that is hard to find these days and we took to it like a fish to water! 

We cannot say enough about Amber and Matt! They did not let Covid-19 get in the way of a day that they were looking forward to! This couple just so happens to live right down the street from us and after a few conversations they entrusted the vision of their day to us and we met every challenge that they threw our way. We had such an amazing time assisting Amber with her day-of timeline and capturing all of her special moments! Amber and Matt chose to have a first look (which we love and highly recommend!) and we couldn’t hold back our tears as these two shared an intimate moment with each other before the guests arrived. They powered through couples portraits and were ready to “take the stage” for their ceremony.

It was a joy to capture their combined families and reception and we are so happy for the two of them!
